After my review, I was contacted by Julie Lynch in their service center. She went way above the call of her job to rectify my situation. She understood my frustration and at no cost to me, is replacing my unit with the upgraded unit as if under warranty. She didnt have to do that, but she did. Not only is she sending me a replacement, but is including all shipping costs for free. AND since they do want the broken tool back, they are paying for that shipping as well.

If I could, I would give her 10 STARS for the best customer service a person could ever hope for. The Robert Bosch Tool Corporation, Dremel/RotoZip division is my new go to tool company. The speed seemed to vary and it got so hot I couldn't hold it after a few minutes. I should have returned it but most of the cuts I needed to make were small so I'd struggle through them and then put the tool away. I have not used the tool extensively and today I tried to turn it on and initially nothing happened. I switched it on and off a couple of times and it would come on, run intermittently and then shut off. It won't get up to speed to do any cutting.
